Dear Brad,
Thanks for the nice QSO tonight. It seemed like one of those strange
cases of one-way propagation. You were very loud... 579 and at times
589. Then at 0304 when you were sending your 72's and closing the QSO...
your signal abruptly went from 579 to about 439. I wondered if you lost
power... or PS voltage fell... I have never heard that abrupt of a change
due to propagation. But, perhaps, it was just that... a rapid change in
band conditions. But I still can't figure why you were not hearing me
any better than 239 when you were so loud. Oh well... we made it and
that is all that counts!
