Hi All... I have just purchased a Signal One CX-7A in "excellent condx
w/all filters and all mods." I will be getting it in a week or so. My
question is: does anyone know of any specific mods/actions to run QRP with
this fine 70's vintage transceiver? It has a single tube (a 7082 final...
I'd also LOVE to find a spare!!!) Unlike the couple of other 'vintage' rigs
I own, I plan to operate this rig almost as often as my main rig (TT OMNI
VI-which turns down to 5W very nicely.) Any known mods or just information
will be appreciated. Thanks!
