I just finished a 9 volt supply using a 723, or 1723 dependning on
which book your reading.
It is an adjustable supply and can be had from Radio Shack.
I plan to write an aricle for the 72 News letter about using
the 723 for a regulated supply.
I got the diagram out of the National Semiconductor book on
linear devices.
