Wow!
He's not only "from a different school" he's
from another planet!! That's not a bad thing necessarily,
just a guy with an opinion that is the complete opposite
of yours/ours. (Sounds like he's headed for broadcasting...)
I wish I could remember a particular quote that I can only
paraphrase that has to do with the process of acceptance of
a new and different idea and consequently I could then wax
poetically about it. But, you guys are spared that experience!
The great thing about this hobby are all the different facets
that can be explored. It takes a lifetime to sample them all
and the result is that there is always something new and exciting
to get involved in. I figure he'll be around one day after he works
halfway around the world and then finds the B+ on the finals was
at 2 volts... then again, not with THAT antenna system. Reminds of
some loudspeakers that need 100 watts just to get the proper response
from them...
