Hello all. What a great time we had. My brother Clif (AB5UA) and I
(Phil - KJ7NS) had a wonderful time in the FYBO funfest. We didn't
get to operate as much as we hoped due to other committments. We did
manage 30 contacts with 12 S/P/C's worked. These contests are always
fun, but even more fun when your brother is there to help out. Most
of the time it was a balmy 45 degrees here on Whidbey Island, WA.
BTW, N4BP had a great signal and good ears for Washington! KB2JE had
the biggest 579 with 4 watts from NJ I ever heard. Our 20 meter
contacts were on the QRP+ as were most of the 40 meter. A few of the
40's were made on the FT900 turned down to 4 watts.

I expected the fun police would be breaking down the door at any
moment because we both were having way too much fun for our own good.
See you on the bands..

Phil
