Greetings, QRP-Lers:
I am a new arrival tp QRP-L and would like to begin by asking for help
finding a field-worthy 40 cw QRP rig. I prefer 3 - 5 W rather than milliwatt range.
If someone has an EMTECH NW40 or a NorCal 40A or a ? that is cluttering up the
table (I saw the stack at N5FO...) let me know! I have a wonderful site picked out
with a great east shot near the home QTH that I would like to use for FD97 but the
Omni-D won't run very long on a 7AH gelcell!
The default, if I don't find such a rig, is to get a NorCal 40A kit. BUT, my highest
priority is getting the home sloper array back up rather than building.
BTW: I have a corresponding ad set to come out in April QST HamAds.
