Howdy Folks,

Big QRP weekend ahead! FYBO on Saturday, CQC contest on Sunday.
Buy your spouse a nice gift and tell 'em you love 'em, 'cause
you may not see them for awhile. :-)

I'm pleased to announce that Bob (N4BP) has graciously created
a log sheet and summary sheet for FYBO, saving us all *alot* of
time and angst. Should be available by tomorrow. I'll post both
to the List, and ask ScQRPion Bob (KI7MN) to add them to the
FYBO section of his webpage too. (Thanks to both Bobs ;-) )

Also, the AZ ScQRPions' Frozen Chosen FYBO expedition is happy
to add one more (fool)hardy soul to our operation: Glenn (KC7SXW)
is a brand new ham, but already picked up his Extra. He's a
serious hiker/backpacker/snowcamper though, so we put him in
charge of carrying all of our stuff. ;-)

So listen for me (AB7TT), Mike (NQ7K) and Glenn. We'll have a
fan dipole covering 15/20/40m high in the trees, right on the
edge of a 2000' drop from the ridgeline, broadside to the N.E.
Should be a nice signal! Hope to put up an 80m dipole as well,
and a vertical for our second station (one callsign per station
at a time, of course).

Just a few days away, folks! Get yer thermometers and hot
chocolate (with the little itty bitty marshmallows) ready to
go!

Cheers de AB7TT (ex-KC7NEV),

-Joe, vole@primenet.com, AZ ScQRPions (Phoenix)
