I print the cards in landscape mode on an HP 820cse, using 110# card
stock, then cut them on a paper cutter. Made 170 or so special cards
for the Christmas AZ spl event, and they all printed in less than two
hours.
Publishers lets you "freeform" any size you want, and once the basic
card is done, with all elements joined, you just copy the thing and
place them side by each until its all done.
It's inexpensive and quick, and the cards can be custom-designed for any
event or contest.
So far, nearly 500 cards in full color, and still on the first ream of
card stock and the first print cartridge.
