Well I had a really bad experience turn into a really good
experience.. thanks do Dwayne at LDG.
I was really looking forward to getting my autotuner going.. never
been so careful building.. looks beautiful. Fired it up.. no
smoke, but all the relays went haywire. they fired up with or
without the 14 pin connector on. All transistors are in correct
and I checked them.. even pulled a couple out to test them outside
circuit. Pulled out U2 and it did the same thing. it would click
for a coulle of seconds and then stop. you can push the tune
button and it will cycle again. the auto and semi seemed to make a
difference.. just had the feeling most things were working. Spent
most of sunday tracking down about every wire path, and looking at
the bottom and top of the board with a high powered mag. glass.
I emailed LDG.. this is Late Sunday.. think it was within and hour
Dwayne got back to me. told me he hadn't heard of this particular
problem, and just ship him the chip. Thanks to him, was able to
actually leave the rig alone and sit and enjoy a movie.
