Normally I don't like to rave about discoveries, especially when I can't
take credit for the concepts, but here is a "yahoo" kind of discovery on my
part.

I hopped into the DX test yesterday not noticing that the gihugeous five
watts was turned down to two watts. So I said "what the hey" and did a
Chuck Adams by turning the power down to 900mW. And wha'd'ya know - dx! Not
one but several contacts in a few minutes. This was really fun. I was
amazed that I was heard amongst the mayhem so I have to credit these
stations with having either very good ears or lots of resolve, or both.
