There has been an offer by at least one license servicing organization to
renew the Amateur Radio license for a fee of $6. To the best of my
knowledge there is NO FEE for renewal of licenses if the request is made
using the form 610 and sent directly to the FCC.
Has anyone else been offered such a renewal service? Anyone know how the
fees distributed?
