I finished my AT-11 today. I have an extra cap too, but not an extra
capped tooth.

Had the small hole syndrome as well. I soldered in a number of spare
resistor leads, trimmed them, put on shrink tubing, then tacked the jumper
up about a half inch off the board. If I didn't like solving soldering
problems like this one, I would have been perturbed with LDG for not
including an addendum with some suggestions for an easy fix.

All the smoke stayed inside the components and it aligned according to the
book.

Nice auto QRO tuner for my TS-140S.
