There is no way I can get a clear freq around 7.040 so will be on
again at the same time 0300 - 0400 UTC 17 Feb. On the novice freq. I
worked the following:
W6EMD 559 CA 2w
AB5UA 579 OK 4w
W2DP 559 NJ 5w
K5ID 539 5w
KA0EGZ 579 MN 50w (Got him interested in QRP!)
KF6AVD 559 WA 5w
Lots of fun, just wish I could have scared some contesters off with my
mighty 5 watts. Rig was a QRP+ at 5 watts to an inverted vee and
Vibroplex iambic paddles. Hope to see you tomorrow night with an open
frequency..
