Hi Gang,

The KnightLite's Roundtable saw a lot of activity last Sunday,
February 9th. The band was in good shape, and a trio from Texas
(K5ZTY - Bill from Houston, WA5POK - Mike from Spring, and
W5XE - Ray from El Paso) was there to greet us. Nice to hear from you
all! One Land was also booming in, with strong signals from AA1IK
(Ernie in Canaan, NH), and KC1FB (Jim in Norwalk, CT). We also heard
from our seafaring Knight Warren, AD4ZE/MM who reported that
"all is well" at their current port of Beaufort, SC. Warren and his
wife Khristie, along with their dog, are sailing to FL and then on to
the Caribbean.

Comments from the soapbox: "Am working FSFD..Have worked 27
states since first of year" (K5ID), "I'm whipped..Worked about 55
QSO's today as SC FSFD rep" (K4NK), "Just finished this little 6L6
transmitter" (WA5POK) [By the way, that 6L6 sounded great--VFB note
and clean keying (de AA4XX)] "We had snow and now don't have QRM"
(N2TNN) [Sounds logical to me too, Dean! Guess there's nothing like
a good snowfall to clear the air] "Now at 5W. Tried at 900mW but
no go" (N4EUK), "I think I got WA3NNA's 80M beacon at 100 uW" (N3GO),
"Had very nice day working on new antennas--Ant now is a 40/80M trap
dipole at 20 feet, so high angle helps on a night like this" (VE3JC)

The Knightlite's Roundtable is open to all amateurs. We invite
you to join us each Sunday night from 0230Z until 0400Z (9:30-11PM EST)
on our new frequency of 3686.4 KHz. Come find out what fellow QRP'ers
are up to. You may check in with any amount of power, QRO or QRP. We
hope to hear from you soon! The Net control station will be using the
brand new KL Club call WQ4RP.
