Gang:

I was in the hot seat for Utah today, all by my lonesome :-)

Patterns were interesting: Lots of long skip during the day.

1600UTC on 30M, I worked 5 stations, all in the first 15 minutes -- they were
looking for me, I guess. Then nothing
1800UTC on 15M, I called CQ for 15 minutes, as promised, but the band was
dead. should have chosen 20M or 17M (How come no one picks 17M?)

2200UTC 20M, I worked 7 stations, again, looking for me, and very quiet the
last 30 minutes.
2300UTC 30M, I worked 11 stations, mostly in the first 30 minutes.

0100UTC 40M, Ah, more activity! worked 23 stations in 1 hour and 20 minutes,
then fairly quiet.

Great day, 46 stations total. I will QSL to all who mail me a card, no SASE
required, address below.

Was running TS850 16 poles of filtering (Now I had to use the RIT), 5 Watts,
EQF Logger, and R-7 Vertical. My first real attempt at using a logger for CW.
Few mistakes, but I can see how it helps in a contest. New skills, thats
what its about...

73, Bob
