FSFD Fox into the Twilight Zone

Howdy Folks,

Well *that* was weird! Got home from work, played with
the kids a bit, then roamed into the shack to look for
Bob (AB7ST), the UT FSFD "Fox". Found him right on the
nose, nice 579 sig, called once and got him! Or so I
thought. Before he could even send my RST, he was gone.
Zip. Nada. Not even a peep.

Now I can hear people working him, but nary a hint of
Bob himself. Argh! Curse this QSB! 30 seconds sooner
and I would've had him! Gonna be a long night....
