Well, I got to see the latest prototype of the Eiphyte 2 and the planned
upcoming version incorporating the KC2 display and improved
"ergonomics".....all this personal attention, all for the price of some
bacon and eggs!
Got a look at the fishing pole everybody is making into a vertical as
I tried to convince Derry that he needs to come to Dayton this year and
that he needs to work on a 10 meter SSB Qrp rig NOW so that the thing will
be ready to go in time for the sunspots in 2 or 3 years time!
Great visit, I am all energized to build something to keep my mind off the
winter darkeness and absent sunspots. The only difficult part was leaving
above freezing (plus 4 deg C) to return to minus 20 deg C (around 0 F).
Oh well, its a SUNNY, DRY cold! ;-)
