When I first subscribed to this list a few months ago, about 20% of the
topics were not QRP. About 20% of the topics still are not QRP. That hasn't
changed, but something else has.
What has changed is that some people, instead of ignoring the stuff they
don't think is appropriate, insist on demeaning the person who sent it (most
recently, the post on learning CW) and doing so in a public post to the
entire list. I'M SICK OF IT! I get enough petty bickering at work - I
don't want it or need it here. This list has always been a place of refuge
in the midst of a crazy world but it is becoming no better than the
agravating world that I try to flee from when I put my soldering iron in
hand or check out the scoop on the qrp list.
PLEASE! If you have a problem with a post, reply directly to the person
making the post, not to the list. I (and I suspect most people) simply
don't want to hear it anymore.
p.s. if you have a problem with my post, please reply to
email@example.com, not qrp-l@Lehigh.edu.
