I just completed the OHR DD-1 Digital Dial and am using it with my OHR-400.
The kit goes together very smoothly. Instructions and parts quality is
excellent. The unit uses the C-5 frequency counter chip developed by Adventure
Radio. The counter will operate from 100hz to 50Mhz and can be programed in
a multitude of ways to accomodate pretty much any rig (it has stored
offset and will track normal or inverted. It is styled in the
standard Oak Hills white and black and measures 1 3/4 H x 4 1/2 W and 4 D.
It can be operated on 9 - 13.6 VDC and draws 100 ma with all six digits
active. With all digits blanked it draws 40 ma. Incidently, the counter input
signal should be in the 75mv to 1 volt rms range and in the digital dial mode
requires about -10dbm of signal.
