Gang,

Well our QRO 7A Field Day was another success. I haven't
gone back over the logs yet to see how many of the QRP-L
gang we worked this time around. I'll look over the logs
later this week and compare with Bill's FD list and report
back.

Last night I finally got the Radio room put back together
around 9pm EDT(0100Z) and decided to do a little relaxing
TMPS operating to chill out from the all out contest
operating of FD. Got on 10.120 and called CQ twice and
Maik, DL3HRJ, came back to my call!! What a thrill!! He gave
me a 339 and I gave him a 459. The amazing thing is that I
use a 80M dipole at about 30 feet fed with cheap Radio Shack
RG-8 coax and use a MFJ tuner to tune it for 30M. What fun!!

LB and other antenna gurus/modelers on the list...what kind of
radiation pattern am I looking at for this antenna setup
on 30M?

   cheers - Warren
