Thought about working zl8ri on a 4th band but decided 3 bands and both
modes was enough.........try out 30 meters again.
Well, on 10.103, all alone, begging for a contact was LU3VC at a 449.
What the heck, give'm a call and back he comes with a 429.
(This fits, his 100 watts and my 5) Short chat to be sure, then listened
to him give CQ for a few more times before he calls it quits.
I guess the hoards were all working the zl8?
Ant here is an inverted vee btw.
Speaking of exchange visits, any of you Dayton QRP types planning on
visiting those young folks (aka "contestors") some evening? ;-)
