Fox, what fox?

It is apparent, after months of painfully combing the pre-announced segment
of 40 meters Kilohertz by Kilohertz and hearing only 3 furries, that fox
hunts are won by those with real antennas or those graced by good fortune
and timely propagation events.

Here in an isolated high plains desert valley, surrounded by dry cliffs, an
extinct volcano and a National Monument, using a tuned roof shingle for an
antenna, the necessary planetary alignments for successful foxhunts just
don't happen!

Snivel, whine etc.
