re: article: Carr's Corner - December 1995 - TV Twinlead Antennas

i have tried to make a vertical as described in the article and am NOT
getting the results predicted. does anyone on the list have experience
with the 'twinlead vertical' ?

basically it's 33.25 feet of 300 ohm twinlead, shorted at the 'end', fed
with 50 ohm coax. the author claims low VSWR and aprox 40-50 ohm Z.

yes, i have e-mailed the author. no reply as yet.

your help, advice, experience would be appreciated.

ng0n. frank.
