I have a OHR Sprint and from both the instructions, and personal
experience you should try to find 8 ohm headphones. The Nova
phones might be 8 ohm when stereo but they might go to 16 ohm
when in Mono. I first tried the RS mono communications phones (16 ohms)
and was really dissapointed with the lack of audio with the radio,
I'm talking about low audio with the volume control turned all the
way up. I then tried stereo phones with one of those mono adapters
which gave me about 4 ohms and a huge increase in volume. I'm not sure
what 8 ohm mono phones would sound like but I suspect they would give
the best audio.
