Got the Fox!

Thanks to Pete, WA3NNA, for running a "late shift". What with my strange
work schedule and all, he's the *first* fox I've heard this season! This was
beginning to feel like an east coast party out here. Until we went back to
Standard Time, most of the foxen were on before sunset, not too great for
long hauls on 40M. Anyway, thanks again, Pete.

30 Nov, 0405Z, WA3NNA, his 429 (with lots of packet qrm), my 449.

Rig: OHR Explorer (the original), 2 watts into a dipole up 45 feet, running
northwest to southeast.

72/73,

John, K6QQ

BTW, I saw on the news tonight that they were talking about the Brown Dwarf
discovered at the Palomar Observatory. I pointed the 200 inch telescope at
it last week, then wondered why the observers were so excited. Now I know!
Almost as good as getting the fox.
