I just stumbled across a quantity of half size clock oscillator
modules for 28.322 MHz.
Seems like something similar was used in the "Fireball" transmitters
featured in 73 magazine a while back.
I have not wired up one in a transmitter yet but I do have the pin
The modules are labeled:
I can get these modules, in quantity, for $1.00 ea.
My Digikey Catalog lists a similar module for $5.61 ea + shipping.
If anyone is interested in some, let me know.
Seems like it would make a real QRPp transmitter, or a beacon, or
a receiver calibrator, .... or something.
