With paralleled diodes in the charger, you may not get the benefit you
expect from higher current handling than a single diode. Unless
they are all matched devices, (unlikely in a Far-east import consumer
device!!), you will have one that has a lower junction "turn-on"
voltage than the others, and it may hog most of the current. If the
diodes are rated 1A, do not assume that 3 in parallel will happily
take 3A... A smoke show may result!
