Subject...Tubes & QRP ???
I am one of those people struggling to traverse the
tricky ground between "kits" and "homebrew".... I have
built numerous audio amplifyer circuits etc. but am
woefully weak when it comes to rx and tx circuits...
I saw the two plans in Sept. CQ magazine using tubes to
build an rx & tx and fell in love immediately. The rx
is described beautifully but the description of the tx
falls a little short for my skill level....
Question: Is it possible to predict how many turns the
coil in the "tx" would be required for 80
meters??? (they say 25-28 for 40M and 20-22
