A while back we went through a discussion of the 8044ABM
chip, the application notes, and all that jazz.
The phone number listed for Curtis Devices (415) 964-3846
in their application notes and given in the April Issue of
QQ by WA8MCQ in his column has been disconnected.
Now we've seen this before in other companies, but the issue
here is the whereabouts of Curtis Electro Devices, Inc.
I am using the new PCBoards program to layout a complete
board with the anti-burp circuit and attempting to make it
fit snuggly into the space in back of the NC40, NC40a, and
I will then layout the board for the K5FO I8031 keyer
and announce to the net. I'll put the postscript copies
of the boards on the ftp site with copyright notice, just
in case someone wants to then pay royalities to make money. :-)
Otherwise you can make one of kind boards for yourself.
Everybody wants a free lunch. Ain't no such thingy.
So, what's the word on Curtis?
