The subject of audio filters came up recently and someone mentioned
"W3???"--that's W3NQN, Ed Wetherhold, in nearby Annapolis, MD (although
we've never met face to face, he's a local call fro me). His address
is 1426 Catlyn--throw out your callbook if it has something else, as
it's hopelessly outdated since that address is now 4 or 5 years old.
He has literally dozens of filter articles in various magazines (ham
and professional) in the last 20 years and KNOWS his subject. His
audio filters (detailed in QST and QEX a few years ago) are excellent.
I featured them a couple times in the Idea Exchange column in the QRP
Quarterly a few years ago, and they are GOOD. (I highly recommend
getting the matched capacitor sets he sells--an excellent bargain, and
something I would not want to do myself; performance is highly
dependant on the correct cap values.) 73 and Queue Our Pea DE WA8MCQ
