I agree with Joe N2CX that 30 meters is a GREAT little band for QRPers
and I also think we should run "special event" fox hunts on 30 meters -
heck we have all those 30-40, OHR etc 30 meter rigs around.
I think the trick for the QRP-L fox hunt is the time - 30 meters lately
goes "dead" after dark. So if folks would schedule around the grey line
sunset hours it may be feasible. The propogation would favor the moving
grey line. Maybe we could come up with a "tag-team" fox hunt where the
East Coast / Mid Continent / West Coast foxes pass the "key" depending on
Anyway just a thought for the New Year fox hunt "special events".

Heck the only thing that I work on 30 meter QRP during the gray line passing
is the Caribbean, Africa and maybe some East Coasters - sigh...
