Browsing the archive at think.com recently I came across a review of the
Norcal 40 by Chuck Adams and Wayne Burdick, from which I extracted the
following point of interest......

This has got me intrigued - can anyone say how the cct. works and how
effective it is, when audio agc systems are renowned for 'popping'?
