On a few overseas orders for the Milliwatt, we told them they could
send charge card info via Internet if they felt comfortable with it, or
else send it by mail. Most, I think, sent it via Internet. I just
heard or read somewhere in the last couple days that "they" recommend
that people NOT send charge card info via e-mail since the messages go
through so many systems and relay points, giving much potential for
unscrupulous people to copy it and use it. For any future printings of
the Milliwatt (or Joy of QRP, if we ever do it), instead of saying they
can send charge info via e-mail if they feel comfortable doing it, I'll
discourage it. I hope no one who sent the info gets bitten by this. 73
